First Communion Letter to Alison from Daddy & Mommy

"Wisdom is the most important thing... Like flowers in your hair, it will beautify your life. Like a crown, it will make you look beautiful." (Proverbs 4:7, 9)

Alison picked this beautiful Bible verse from one of Edward's and her library of books at home. We used this verse to put on our Family Shield for Alison's First Communion. Just like our journey with Edward last year, we attended informational and spiritual meetings, completed workbook assignments, and created a Family Shield - all in preparation for Alison's First Communion, her very first time to fully participate in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. What a joyful and momentous occasion indeed!

We are very grateful to Holy Angels School; we couldn't have asked for a better partner in education. We also want to thank our loving family and supportive friends. Each of you are a gift from God.

We want to share with you our First Communion Letter to Alison. Please continue to pray for her and her beautiful heart that is blessed with caring for God's creatures and compassion for the less fortunate:

"You are a precious daughter of the King of kings. You are God's little princess!"

Dear Alison,

You are our princess - beautiful inside and out, so talented and fearless, so strong, and so smart - use these gifts to give glory to our King and His people.

Pray to God everyday, that you may continue to grow in grace and wisdom. Your sparkle is irresistible, and the world is yet to witness the great display of fireworks that you are!

We love you and we are proud of you, dear daughter. We are always here for you!

Love,
Daddy & Mommy

Dear Lord, Bless us as Alison's parents to continue to raise her according to Your will. Bless our family and friends, whose love and support play a vital role in sustaining our family. Amen.
