Audrey's Mommy Corner: The Reboot!

Happy Reboot Day, Audrey's Mommy Corner!

In coordination with my blog's birthday tradition of retiring the mommy quote that sits at the foot of my blog, and introducing a new one, I am doing it today to say:

I'M BAAACK!” :)

Oh, how I've missed this... and how I've missed all of our chats about mommy-hood!

“FAITHFUL SERVANT”

“Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together.” -Matthew 25:23

Dear Lord, The mommy quote/Bible verse that I'm retiring today has served, in a way, as a self-fulfilling prophecy. Looking back at the time when I pursued my teaching credential, Edison and I had been able to raise two semi-independent middle schoolers. As we continued to raise Edward and Alison, I was then given more responsibilities with children: as a student-teacher to 3rd and 4th Graders; then as a long-term substitute 3rd Grade homeroom teacher; until I finally became a full-time middle school homeroom teacher. Continue to guide me, Lord, as we celebrate together with my fellow mommies in this journey! Amen.
